I had amazing grandfathers (Papa Sidney and Papa Murray) that entertained my two sisters, Corie ​and Beth, and me with fun bed time stories. The Rarey is based on a story and character Papa Sidney ​regularly told with great delight. I have wanted to share The Rarey and related stories and now have ​brought them to you for your enjoyment. I wish my nephew Liam and nieces Kalia and Sydney got to ​meet them but the stories live on.

I lived in London, but like the Rarey and Cookie and Shermy, moved back to “The Big City”, the city of ​my birth. The Rarey would have been with you sooner, but for some reason I decided to illustrate ​myself, so that took another year!
